What is so funny?

Twice this week I've had these crazy laughing fits. Hormones? I don't know. Both times it happened after 10pm so of course Hudson was fast asleep and I'm completely by myself, which makes me feel even crazier as I laugh so hard tears are streaming down my face. The first time it happened, I was watching Regis and Kelly (recorded on my DVR) and there was this little dog on the show (like the dog on "Frasier") who was trying to break the Guinness Book of World Records for most balloons popped. As if the dog running around popping balloons wasn't enough, he actually breaks the record, confetti is shot off and then balloons fall from the ceiling! The dog FREAKS out again!!!

The other item that I found so funny was from an email I received. It may not be as funny in the morning but it gave me a good laugh!

Well it looks like we have a healthy baby girl on the way. Hudson and I were in heaven during our 30 minute ultrasound this morning. The tech doing it was very thorough and was nice enough to explain every single thing she was measuring and looking at. She measured the baby's brain and the fluid on it, which both measured exactly 20 weeks. She looked at her spine from top to bottom, identified the kidneys, bladder, stomach, lungs and diaphragm. We were able to see all four chambers of the heart and watch the blood flow perfectly. The technician also counted every single finger and toe (there were 20!). The baby cooperated and we were able to get a good profile of her face where we saw her nose, both lips and chin (which indicated no cleft palate). Her estimated weight is exactly 1 pound.

After the ultrasound we saw the perinatologist and she confirmed that the baby looked perfect. She said if there was anything wrong it would be something very minor.

In this picture it looks like she has two streaks going down the side of her head, it's just the angle. :) If you look closely, you can see the four chambers of her heart.

I think this is a great full-body picture

Considering that "Number 1" gesture she's giving, she MUST be thinking about the Auburn Tigers!

This is a really neat picture of her with her mouth wide open.

Sweet little foot

Although the amniotic fluid level is fine, her head wasn't positioned in an area with a lot of fluid which is needed to get good 3D pictures (plus the cord was in the way). But we did manage to get a picture of her feet, her legs are crossed at the ankles. Double click on the pictures to make them larger.

Still a Girl!

I had an ultrasound done while in Arkansas, she wasn't cooperative enough to give us a nice profile shot but she looked great.

It's a Girl!!!

We have a baby girl on the way and she was not shy in showing us her gender. She was shy in showing us her face so we have a lot of profile shots. Olivia was thrilled with the news, Maxwell...not so much. I think he was just upset that his prediction was wrong, I'm sure he'll grow to love her :) I'm posting some 4D video and pictures. Of course it's still early so she has no fat on her and looks a little......scrawny. We think she's precious! I can't wait to go back in a couple of months to see her when she's a little chubbier! You can click on a picture to make it larger.

Giving the placenta a little kiss

Profile shot of her sucking her thumb.

This is her drama queen shot, her left hand over her face and her right hand in the air over her head.
