The kids had their first soccer game on Saturday. They loved it! The weather was perfect and they got some great exercise running up and down the field. I'm so thankful God has blessed us with two healthy children that are able to enjoy playing sports. It's so exciting to see them both experiencing something new!

Friday and Saturday were busy days this past weekend. Olivia had a couple of friends over for a slumber party to celebrate her birthday. We went out to eat at Olivia's favorite restaurant, Bugaboo Creek. Then on Saturday morning we went to the Easter egg hunt at our church. The kids had a lot of fun with all of the activities the church had scheduled. Later that afternoon we went to a friend's house for another Easter egg hunt. Olivia and Maxwell enjoyed playing with their friends and Hudson and I enjoyed visiting with our's. Unfortunately, Olivia woke up at 5am Sunday morning with a VERY upset stomach (to put it mildly) ; I was afraid it may be a stomach bug so I kept both kids home from church, Hudson had to go solo.

I hate we missed church and weren't able to celebrate Jesus' life and resurrection. How awesome is it that Jesus was sent to die for our sins so that we could spend eternity with our Father? And all we have to do is accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, it's completely free!

The bump is getting bigger! Only 113 days to go until we meet our little baby girl!

Another successful fishing trip!!

Hudson, Maxwell and Satrick went fishing yesterday and caught several fish. They had a great time and Maxwell even caught a fish when he was reeling in the line on his pole. We're planning on renting a party barge once it's warm enough and taking the kids over to the lake to do some skiing and swimming. Hopefully we can get a couple of trips in before the baby arrives!

Soccer Time!

Olivia and Maxwell are both playing Upwards Soccer this spring. They absolutely love it! One of the best things about playing Upwards is that there is a devotional during practice and each week they learn/memorize a new scripture. I took some pictures of Maxwell's practice yesterday but couldn't get any of Olivia's. They both have a game Saturday (hopefully it won't rain) and I'll have pictures of it all this weekend. Sunday Afternoon

We had a beautiful day yesterday, despite the fact that it snowed on Saturday morning. Hudson and Maxwell went fishing and had a blast. Maxwell enjoyed every minute of it. They left about 1:30p and didn't get home until 9:30! Obviously they enjoyed the extended day due to daylight savings. Maxwell is finally at an age when he doesn't ask to go home 10 mins after getting to the lake. Hudson has a permanent fishing buddy. Olivia and I went to Barnes and Noble and did some other shopping and then came home and enjoyed the weather outside with some friends.
