Abigail and the Blackberry

This is the first time Abigail would cooperate and talk on the phone, unfortunately, no one was on the other end! As you can hear (excuse me) I did my best to get her to share the love with her Papoo. It wasn't happening....this time.

Field Day 2010

Maxwell had his Field Day today and he had a lot of fun running relays and races. Abigail and I went to cheer him on and occasionally remind him it's all for fun...he's a tad competitive! I can't believe Maxwell will finish 1st grade next week, he's had a wonderful year!

It's getting hot humid over here.

Pottery Party

We celebrated Olivia's 10th birthday a couple of weeks ago, the party was a lot of fun. Olivia and her friends enjoyed picking out a piece of pottery to paint and then they had a lot of fun creating their masterpieces!

A Hunting We Will Go...

Our wonderful church hosted their annual Easter Eggstravangza this morning. The kids look forward to it every year and this year, it did not disappoint. We had a great time and the weather was fabulous. Each of the kids ended up with waaaaay too many eggs, but I have a feeling half of them will disappear, mysteriously, in the middle of the night.

It just wouldn't be right if they were all looking at the camera.

Abigail hunted eggs with the 2yrs and younger crowd and she was all business picking up "balls".

Olivia offered to film Abigail's hunt and Maxwell pointed out the eggs to her.

Ten is Terrifc!

Today, our sweet girl, our firstborn turned ten years old. She refused to allow anyone to tell her "Happy Birthday" until 8:08a.m. EST...and she was very specific...Eastern Standard Time! That's Olivia! She's a blessing to us and is the sweetest, smartest, kindest 10 yr old we know! We love you sweet girl!
